The smart, sexy, and all around enjoyable Eidiya just tweeted, “Wearing USA flag printed stuff even though it is “illegal” is by far the most “American” thing you could possibly do. #rebel #freedombaby” This reminded me that I wanted to share some images Forrest Black and I shot of her, which are currently live on BlueBlood.com
This week is the 4th of July, Independence Day in the US of A. Eidyia is independent, intelligent, and politically aware. And she has a great booty. So she is the perfect person for this year’s July 4 photo shoot. A good friend graciously allowed me and Forrest Black to bring Eidyia by late at night to roll around naked in her well-appointed dining room. I hope you all enjoy the results of our creative endeavors. We all certainly enjoyed creating these images. Happy Independence Day!
Much as I am entertained by green beer and getting tipsy in the street, I thought I would pass along these fun factoids to know and share:
(1) The holiday as really celebrated today started in the Americas.
(2) Use of the shamrock was added nearly a thousand years after the death of the saint, as a co-option of Pagan ritual.
(3) Leprechauns became associated with the holiday largely due to the release of a 1950’s Disney movie about them.
(4) Pubs in Ireland were required to be closed on the religious holiday until the 1970’s.
(5) The original color associated with the holiday was blue.
Full series of the lovely Ms. Poisoness on Gothic Sluts and the Blue Blood VIP. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Bonus Blue Blood VIP and Erotic Fandom update.
So artist Kevin Flint made an apocalyptic gun turret. So I felt compelled to put gorgeous naked people in it. Busty beautiful Larkin Love comes with the delightful enthusiasm.
I love the contrast between Franccesca de Struct‘s soft classic features and strong goth-industrial look in this series and we went with a color palette to accentuate this. This is the 4th set Forrest Black and I shot of the stunning Franccesca de Struct for the Blue Blood VIP. Members get to, ya know, see the whole 128 picture shebang of sexy goth-industrial goodness.
Continuing the theme of blue-haired beauties Forrest Black and I have photographed, from Alecia Joy‘s 13th Blue Blood VIP appearance to Darenzia‘s 39th Blue Blood VIP appearance . . . I’m pleased to be able to share this unseen flashback photo shoot with you all. Forrest Black and I photographed a bunch of stuff of Darenzia where a few images ran in various print magazines. Only print magazines, at least back then, preferred to have an embargo on publishing the full set on BlueBlood.com or RubberDollies.com or wherever, until after the print mag cam out. Only print publications sometimes take forever to actually be published. So, by the time Marquis and I think a couple other things were published with our shots of Darenzia, the hard drive with the originals had died. (I recall Marquis was one because Darenzia was kind enough to thank me and Forrest, for shooting her first Marquis appearance and hooking her up with the mag, in her covergirl feature interview when she made the cover of the magazine. I make sure to always remember kindnesses.) We recently were able to happily recover a bunch of stuff off of it, so, voila! New old Darenzia pics! We’ve also recently organized the majority (well, not all, but the majority, of our film negatives. We did that for our deathrock book project, but BlueBlood.com members may benefit as well.
Alecia Joy‘s formal dance training is evident in this photo series. It was such a pleasure for me and Forrest Black immortalizing someone doing something so well and so beautifully. Alecia is wonderful to work with. I really want to post like a zillion images from this set because it turned out so awesome, but, with the ways Google and Facebook are 900 pound gorillas dictating how others must present things, the internet is becoming so aggressively SFW. So I feel like, if I want anyone to see my personal blogging, I need to keep it pretty SFW (other people’s W that is) if I want anyone to actually see what I create. Trust me, Alecia Joy can do really cool stuff on a trapeze. Anyway, for Blue Blood VIP members, there are 82 photographs in this series.
I’m feeling really worn out, but at least I can tell I’ve gotten a ridiculous amount of things done. This series Forrest Black and I shot of Scarlet Starr just posted to EroticFandom and the Blue Blood VIP. Raygun accessories by the most excellent Kevin Flint.
This photo set, lensed by Forrest Black and yours truly in the Pacific NW, is like triple word score gothic. The creative Luci is wearing a black spiderweb hoop skirt she made, a black corset (I think she might have made this too), and a lot of dramatic black and red eye makeup. And Luci has the world’s cutest pair of pet rats!
Full series, as always, in the Blue Blood VIP.
Just posted this update to Blue Blood VIP and Erotic Fandom. This is Scar 13‘s 95th appearance in the Blue Blood VIP. Yes, you read thst correctly: 95th.
Just posted this update to Blue Blood VIP and Erotic Fandom. This is Delilah‘s 10th appearance in the Blue Blood VIP.
The dollar being weak allowed the lovely Delilah and Morrigan Hel to travel to their hearts content. Forrest Black and I happened to have some armor on hand, in our shooting location, from designer Tony Swatton, when they came through Hollywood, so Delilah put it to good use.
This was just set to mail out to everyone who subscribed to the BlueBlood Newsletter. It occurs to me that we no longer have a way for new folks to subscribe, so I’ll have to add that to the endless to-do list. –Amelia

California Deathrock Book Kickstarter
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ameliag/california-deathrock-book
The really big news is that a book of Forrest Black and Amelia G’s deathrock portraiture is going to be published. There are four days left in the Kickstarter pledge period and the project has already succeeded and will definitely be funded. Pledge now and Amazon won’t charge for the California Deathrock book until the pledge period is complete.
Forrest and Amelia will also thank you in print in the book, if you pledge now. Please note that, once the book is published, it should be available via Amazon and Barnes & Noble, but the retail price is expected to be significantly higher than the Kickstarter price. Cool people who Forrest and Amelia have photographed will probably be able to get the book for wholesale pricing later, but that will be around the Kickstarter amount and without the mention in the book dedication. And it would be ever so helpful and awesome if you could get those pledges in now to make sure the book is a hardcover and has the best possible art book paper and most possible pages.

Forrest and I are getting ready to start going through contact sheets for our California Deathrock project today. Thanks to our awesome backers, we know we are definitely going to be able to do the book, so we want to get a head start on editing film.
It has been so long since I got to work with negatives and contact sheets that I am having trouble finding any of my grease art pencils to mark the contact sheets with. I’m still hopeful that a search will uncover my stash, but I might have to go get a couple from the camera store. Hopefully they still carry traditional tools.
We’re going to try both the library and a coffeehouse with big tables and see which is more comfortable to go through contact sheets in.
Thanks so so so much to everyone who has supported this project so far. If we hit $2,200, the book is definitely going to be hardcover and it seems promising that it will.
