Happy New Year and a Fabulous Forthcoming 2012
Blue Blood has so much going on that it is a good idea to follow the Blue Blood Twitter for up-to-the-minute info. In 2012, Blue Blood has a bunch of cool party sponsorships coming up, some very exciting print projects, and the launch of Blue Blood Fleshlights kicking off with the lovely lady parts of Nicotine and Misti Dawn. As we both gear up for the future and reflect on this past year, here are some of the highlights of 2011: Re-Design
You have probably noticed that got a spiffy new look in 2011. There are lots of new articles and new conversations. Music videos, cool style, and pop culture deconstructions. Come say hello and participate in intelligent counterculture debate and hotness 🙂

2011 APN Awards Nominations and Wins
Blue Blood received a flattering number of nominations and took home half a dozen wins from the APN Awards, including Best Gothic Update for Razor Candi/GothicSluts, Best Nerd Update for Nicotine/EroticFandom, Best Site Re-Design for Forrest Black/GothicSluts, and Best Alternative Photography for Amelia G and Forrest Black. The sites received a number of other nominations for various awards over the course of the year, but it felt extra-good to be recognized in such important wins from awards run by people who really get it. The Blue Blood crew is looking forward to the 2012 awards.

Hustler Interviews Amelia G and Nicotine
Hustler magazine ran an interview with Amelia G and Nicotine in a feature on steampunk. “What the Heck is Steampunk?” was also illustrated with photography by Amelia G and Forrest Black. This is in the February issue, on newsstands now. Panel of Experts began running a series of features with a Panel of Experts interviewed on various horror and gothic-related topics. Blue Blood notables on the Panel include Amelia G, John Shirley, Will Judy, Forrest Black, Cecilia Tan, Thomas S. Roche, Ed Mironiuk, Eric Swartz, and Chad Savage. Re-Design Red Carpet Event
Blue Blood sponsored the red carpet event for’s celebration of its dark new design. Blue Blood notables in attendance included Amelia G, Forrest Black, Carlos Batts, April Flores, Diana Knight, and Daniel Ian Essex of the Astrovamps.

Marquis #51
Marquis #51 hit German newsstands. For this issue, Amelia G and Forrest Black did their Big in America column on the exceedingly flexible Alecia Joy. This makes more than thirty issues in a row of Marquis, the highest circulation glossy fetish magazine in the world, which have featured work by Blue Blood’s Amelia G and Forrest Black.

All Access Pass Call for Submissions
Editrix Amelia G is looking for a pansexual orientation and (ironically perhaps) is still reading for a few more hetero boy/girl stories for this sequel to the critically-acclaimed Backstage Passes.

Picture and Premium magazines
Picture and Premium magazines have been running an extensive series of spreads highlighting in their glossy international pages. The Blue Blood crew has not seen the magazines yet, but have been told the layouts look very nice.

How to screen a movie and porn parody – Avatar and Avatar XXX Double Feature Funtime

by Amelia G : October 21st, 2010

avatar porn

A long time ago, in a land far from here, my punk rock group house Cambodia held a screening of a double feature of Edward Scissorhands and Edward Penishands. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that Edward Scissorhands was in fact the better movie, but it was still a really fun night. With Hustler releasing This Ain’t Avatar XXX 3D, this came to mind. If you show your own fabulous double feature, always play the original movie first and then the porn parody or the adult video won’t make sense to viewers who haven’t seen the first one.

Having personally participated in painting up a lot of red devil girls for Barely Evil and even a science fiction green creature from the sexy lagoon for Erotic Fandom, I have extra admiration for the job head makeup artist Lee Garland did on the Avatar creatures. One of the difficulties in shooting anything really explicit with body paint is that the paint tends to come off. Apparently, leader actor Chris Johnson, who played the XXX porn parody Jake Sully from Avatar, was blue for days, during the production of This Ain’t Avatar XXX 3D. Lee Garland explains, “We used an alcohol-based paint so that it wouldn’t sweat or rub off during the film’s most important scenes. In fact, I believe we used over forty bottles during the whole production. At more than fifty dollars a bottle, you can imagine what kind of finances went in to airbrushing the actors blue.”

Okay, I was probably still more turned on by the original Avatar. (Yeah, I’m a dork and I thought Avatar was hot, only movie I bothered to see in the theatre last year.) But the porn version is a cut above what porn parodies usually bring to the table and it is so convenient to view on the Hustler site now. The blue substance is not unobtainium but viagratanium. You know you have to check it out. We have a SFW free Avatar porn gallery here on for your safe viewing pleasure and I recommend checking out the Hustler XXX version of Avatar when you are either safely alone or in a living room full of degenerate punk . . .

Marge Simpson in Playboy

Marge Simpson in Playboy

by Amelia G : October 10th, 2009

nasa moon bombingSo the nice girl next door at Evergreen Terrace is going to be sort of taking it off for Playboy. A Playboy spokeswoman seems to indicate that Marge Simpson will only be showing implied nudity in her three page pictorial, despite having landed the cover of Playboy for all newsstand copies. (Subscribers will get a non-cartoon celebrity on the cover. No word on whether it is a naked celeb.) The old saying goes, implied nudity is a lot like implied food. I don’t a hundred percent agree, but it seems like doing Playboy should equal conservative nudes because that is their format. Unless Marge were just doing an interview, in which case I’m not sure about her being the sexy covergirl, much as I love The Simpsons.

I think a number of people keep saying Lois Griffin from Family Guy should do Playboy next, because they know Lois Griffin would actually show the goods. Let’s be realistic here and see that Lois Griffin would be a great fit for Hustler. Regardless, Marge Simpson doing Playboy is a very cute way to celebrate The Simpsons 20th anniversary. Yup, The Simpsons have been on the air for twenty years.

Playboy CEO Scott Flanders, who replace Hugh Hefner offspring Christie Hefner this summer, states that he is really excited about having a cartoon on the cover . . .
