Can anyone please explain to me how it makes sense that people can stand within #6feet of #videopoker machines at the #supermarket but nobody can play? I wish there were more (any) consistency or logic to the way these directives are being developed. #inthetimeofcovid19

Thanks to a tip from @zenova_braeden I am once again the proud owner of #papertowels Some folks are brushing up on their home skills because the #sewing and #cooking sections at #walmart are decimated. #homeworkout equipment is #outofstock too. Walmarts seem to be keeping #papergoods in stock better than a lot of places, if you are looking.

#costco apparently out of almost everything, but at least they have $200+ cartons of exotic warm water spiny #lobster So, yeah a #wtf shopping excursion. Able to stock up on cleaning #vinegar and #icecream though.

Tell me a recipe you’ve made in quarantine please.
I’m learning to make tacos. This is where I’m at for #carnitas #tacos although I ate all of it, so haven’t tested frozen goal yet.

1.5 lbs free range pork shoulder / pork butt

1 tsp organic cumin .5 tsp salt

2 tsp organic oregano
1 tsp organic black pepper
1/8 cup organic lime juice
1/3 medium organic white onion

3/8 cup organic cold pressed pineapple juice

1 clove organic garlic

put some onions in bottom of rommertof
mix dry spices
rinse pork and pat dry

rub spices in pork and place on onion layer

put remainder of onions and crushed garlic on top of pork

pour lime and pineapple juices over whole thing, taking care not to rinse off rub

cover rommertof and put in oven at 400 for 2 hours

ideally get moist pulled pork which can be lightly browned in a pan before being put in tacos

should also freeze well

#SNL had an #snlathome sketch where someone isn’t going to the doctor with a broken bone. In related news, I tripped over my own dislocated toe today and also my primary care provider told me to get an x-ray. As one wouldhope, in-person #medical visits are weird as heck now. I didn’t like that they wouldn’t let me wear my gloves in, but they have a bunch of clever precautions in place like putting ID in a plastic bag.

With #nurses like these, do you feel a need for #healthcare coming on? ?
