Adam losing AI, much like Allison losing America’s Next Top Model, was the best thing that could have happened to him.
Instead of being stuck with an iron clad contract and 1+ years of doing nothing but promo spots for AI, Adam gets to get the fuck on with starting and flourishing with what is going to be an amazing career.
I can’t wait to see what he accomplishes
Simon Fuller of 19E and CKX said before the finale that they were going to exercise their option on both Adam Lambert and Kris Allen, and possibly one or two other top ten contestants, no matter who won American Idol.
We can def hope that they will feel less compelled to compel Adam Lambert to make a really Idolish album under the circumstances.
I thought he should have won too!!
Kris Allen even thinks Adam Lambert should have won. Which makes the whole thing both mean to Adam and mean to Kris.
There is a plus side to this though. Adam now has an even greater fan base which should help any solo endeavors he pursues. I can’t wait to see whats next! I never watch AI however when I caught Adam Lambert flipping through channels I was dead impressed.
Totally agree. I mean, he was awfully impressive years before AI, but, just by having him on the show for so long and in the way they did, AI made him able to showcase that star quality to the world.
