Free Nude Pumpkin Carving Halloween Gallery (PICS)

Interestingly, when Forrest Black and I photographed her, this particular Morticia style classic goth model is from the UK and she had never carved a jack o’lantern before, so we deflowered her in the pumpkin carving department. Full hot spooky shoot on GothicSluts.com and in the Blue Blood VIP for Halloween. More free nude gothic pics in the teaser gallery 🙂

Franccesca de Struct Sunlit Vamp (SFW PICS)

I love the contrast between Franccesca de Struct‘s soft classic features and strong goth-industrial look in this series and we went with a color palette to accentuate this. This is the 4th set Forrest Black and I shot of the stunning Franccesca de Struct for the Blue Blood VIP. Members get to, ya know, see the whole 128 picture shebang of sexy goth-industrial goodness.

Happy (Naked Tattooed Elf Scarlet Starr) Holidays from Blue Blood’s BarelyEvil (SFW PICS)

Happy holidays, everyone! I’m eating cookies and drinking cocoa (well, mocha, but that’s how I like it) and I hope you all are too.

Forrest Black and I photographed cute elfin Scarlet Starr chewing on a candy cane in a Bah Humbug Santa hat, with some candy cane striped stockings, and a good dose of red and green and silver tinsel Christmas decorations. I just love holiday sets. These two images are safe for work (not that you are probably working today, but you know what I mean) but none of the links I’m about to give you are. There are some very nice naughtier free pics of Xmas Scarlet Starr in this free BarelyEvil gallery. The whole series appears in the Blue Blood VIP and on Barely Evil 🙂

Gothic Halloween Jen Vixen (PICS)

This is Halloween Jen Vixen‘s 15th appearance in the Blue Blood VIP. This makes 777 live images of her lovely self. Read, write, execute, baby! Whole series in the VIP members area. I feel like Forrest Black and I did a good job capturing Jen’s personality in the many shoots we have done together. She can go from repose to exuberance very quickly, in a super fun way. Anyway, this series appears in its entirety both at BlueBlood.com and GothicSluts.com.

goth vs emo cannibalism maxim golovatskikh karina barduchianMaxim Golovatskikh might be hot and in a band, but he is a butcher. Well, actually a year ago that was pretty literally true, on multiple levels, but he has been in jail awaiting trial since then. See Maxim Golovatskikh was a goth boy in a band who worked as a butcher to pay his rent in a gothic group house in St Petersburg.

Unfortunately, it was Maxim Golovatskikh’s misfortune to have a cute emo girl get all hot for him. Cute emo Karina Barduchian was so into Maxim Golovatskikh that she kept right on going over to his place, even afer her mother forbade her to see him. The problem was he and his housemates were all goth-identified, but this Karina Barduchian chick was all emo and hanging out at their party pad, just flaunting her vulnerable cute girl killability. It has also been widely reported that she made fun of really uncute goth boy Yuri Mozhnov for being a florist and she was just really emo, ya know.

So, obviously, the only rational thing for Maxim Golovatskikh and Yuri Mozhnov to do was to wait until the festivities wound down and then drown Karina Barduchian in the bathtub. And cook the tastiest parts of her remains and serve them to their unsuspecting housemate Ekaterina Zinovyeva as a hearty breakfast with potatoes.

Now I’m kind of a foodie, so I used to be curious about cannibalism. Sorta grew out of it. Just a phase I guess. There have been certain warrior tribes who ate portions of fallen foes to gain some of their power, but how much mojo can one get from a cute emo girl with a crush on a gothic boi in a band? Kellie LaPlegua recently did a performance where . . .

Alt- vs. Fetish

Kumi posted a blog entry where she talks about not viewing fetish and alt-modeling as related at all. I both agree and don’t. I guess in theory, I disagree, but, in practice, what she observes is often dead-on how this currently goes in the real world. I wanted to share a quick thought of mine on the topic and also direct folks to what she wrote: Alt- vs. Fetish

I discussed this with Michelle Olley years ago, when she was at Skin Two, and we were both trying to promote having models with unusual haircuts and tattoos and dramatic makeup and such in fetish areas. And meeting with resistance. Looking punk or goth-industrial or whatever and showing up to the BDSM party was not always the way to elicit the friendliest welcome in those days. The handcuffs on my leather jacket at the time were fully functional and one of the reasons I founded Blue Blood was precisely to celebrate an aesthetic which resonated with me sexually. 17 years later, I am less impressed by a daring hairstyle than I once was, partly because it takes less courage to rock one in a post-internet world, but I’m still enough of a fetishist there that I will look at two people with the same basic level of appeal and think the one with the mohawk is way hotter.

Something which troubles me deeply is that a lot of people have reinterpreted alt to be where girls (not women) who do not make the grade can put on wigs and LARP like they are modeling. These are generally girls who do not want to have to develop their minds or even their cooking skills, but they do not want to hit the gym either. So they call themselves altmodels and you are supposed to like them for their looks alone, without requiring them to look good.

Certain corporate players in the marketplace have aggressively attempted to de-sexualize alt. But a few more loathsome humans in the overall society doesn’t make liking music and subculture-influenced looks not a fetish.

MSNBC vs Adam Lambert and Twilight

MSNBC vs Adam Lambert and Twilight

by Amelia G : April 14th, 2009

Adam Lambert Mad WorldSo Linda Holmes of MSNBC just posted an article where she called FOX’s American Idol front-runner Adam Lambert “self-indulgent and not particularly creative”. I know FOX and MSNBC are competitive with one another, but I just think Linda Holmes is way off-base. She goes on to say:

“But what, exactly, is the Adam Lambert constituency of the future? He would be popular with fans of … what? The judges seem to think that the answer is “Twilight,” but what kind of sense does that really make? . . . But before anyone goes anointing him some kind of highly marketable future star, take another look at that performance of “Ring Of Fire,” and ask yourself whether you’d hear that on the radio.”

First off, I feel like Twilight and Adam Lambert are two of the only major mainstream pop culture phenomenons of the new millennium which actually are made for an incredibly underserved demographic. When I look for Blue Blood appropriate subject matter which is new, Twilight and Adam Lambert are two of the only things on the radar there. The Twilight soundtrack has been in the Billboard top 10 for twenty-two weeks now. Carter Burwell’s freaking score for Twilight entered the Billboard charts five weeks ago and is still hanging in there. So, if MSNBC doesn’t see the relation between Adam Lambert and Twilight and what a lot of people would like to . . .

Blow Art – Serena Toxicat Interview

Blow Art – Serena Toxicat Interview

by Amelia G : April 4th, 2009

serena toxicat blowBlue Blood hottie Serena Toxicat recently mentioned that she would be showing thirty of her art pieces at the Blow Gallery in Berkely, California. If you are in that neck of the woods, you can stop by 2112 Berkeley Way, Berkeley, CA 94704 for an evening of hotties like Serena Toxicat, art, and possibly some free booze. Most gallery shows have free booze. I try not to examine why too closely. Here you can examine the conversation Serena Toxicat and I just had about art.

Amelia G: What first got you into creating? Were you always creative?

Serena Toxicat: Apparently as a 5 year-old my painting looked like pointillism. My 1st grade art teacher raved about the stuff. After my dad saw how much I liked to color and paint, his best friend bought me a set of acrylics and I never looked back, except to kick my own ass to make more. I do so many things in the world of art and performance that my productivity in any one area tends to ebb and flow.

Amelia G: What are your favorite media to create in and how to you feel writing vs. visual arts compare for expressing yourself?

Serena Toxicat: I love acrylic and just developed a system whereby I draw in marker over an acrylic base. I also like making sculpture with found objects and occasionally indulge in photography. I made . . .

Twilight Vampires (PICS)

Twilight Vampires

by Amelia G : March 29th, 2009

Twilight vampiresTwilight is out on DVD this week and, if you enjoy the tropes of cool sexy vampires, then Twilight is a fun watch. If you were just wondering whether or not to catch it on DVD or On Demand, then all you really need to know is that the movie has a pleasing cold color palette, nice-looking cast, interesting styling, creative quality directing, and a solid storyline with no plot holes and a satisfying ending. If vampires or lack of promiscuity or overwrought sexuality fill you with rage, then pass on Twilight, but otherwise it is enjoyable and hotter than I would have expected.

I admit that I would have enjoyed Twilight most between the ages of fourteen and fourteen. Yes, I know I said fourteen twice, but the target demographic for the movie is pretty specific. Realistically, the Twilight movie is probably aimed at girls aged twelve to nineteen, but it is just well enough done that it reaches beyond its core target demo. Not to put too fine a point on it, I think one of the reasons that vampires are so alluring to teen girls is that they are dangerously seductive, but they don’t put out particularly often. There is the aura of sexual excitement without the necessity to know precisely what to do with someone else’s private parts.

I wrote my thesis on Cross-cultural and Historical Vampire Legends as a Paradigm for Aggressive . . .
