Amelia G – zinester publisher since the 90’s of Blue Blood (naked gothic people) and BLT (punk humor)

Hi Reddit! During the zine revolution, doing layout with a hand waxer in the basement of a punk rock group house, I started off publishing Black Leather Times (BLT for short), an antisocial humor zine with cool artwork and appalling but witty prose. My unsavory pals and I would give away thousands of copies of each issue for free at goth-industrial nightclubs, science fiction conventions, and local punk, sex, and music boutiques.

I graduated to putting out the full color, glossy, internationally distributed, critically-acclaimed Blue Blood magazine of counterculture erotica.

Then the internet came along and made this sort of behavior into a viable business.
